I was expecting, and kind of hoping for NX to be a weak, $250 system. Nintendo games don't need spectacular hardware, and I already have a midrange PC for multiplats. I would've bought the thing at launch, which is something I have never done. Hopefully they can keep the price at $300. Any more and they run a serious risk of repeating the Wii U's mistake.
