This is definitely the case. And I'm mostly just thinking a few years from now (I just like to plan ahead). Hopefully the PS5 supports something along those lines.

By this do you mean you are getting a TV in a few months in order to prepare for the future or that you like to think about it in advance but won't be buying one anytime soon?

I don't mind the price of the steaming, what sucks for me is that I just can't stream any of that higher quality services due to my horrible internet (it's at most 5Mbps) and the only way for me to get something better is if I move (which I hopefully will be doing by this time next year). As Amazon and Netflix for that higher up quality require like 25 Mbps. :/

And nice! That's somthing I'll keep my eye out for. I wasn't even aware of HDR until you mentioned it; I thought 4K was the next big thing.

I just upgraded my internet a few months back to roughly 75 Mbps, much more than I personally need but we have 4 people living here and get a lot of visitors so I wanted some extra muscle. Hopefully, you can move and get your internet improved too!

Yeah, same with me. I thought 4K was the latest but then started reading about HDR and how that was even more important than 4K. I was like, why? We already don't have a ton of 4K content
