If we really want to pull 7th Gen into this, then the GwG options compared to Instant Game Collection options is a joke. But considering we're 8th Gen, let's just stick to that.

And I did not have fun with Thief, nor did many others. Honestly, the only retail releases that are worth time are Ground Zeroes, Rayman, Black Flag, and Tomb Raider. Everything else on there was more or less "Eh, no one will buy them anyway. May as well give them away". As for great indies that are free on PS+, there are a bunch. Of the top of my head, Rogue Legacy, Tower of Guns, Dust, Apotheon, Grow Home, and Don't Starve all come to mind.

Nah, I think 360's list looks good in comparison thanks to the entire Gears series, Halo: Reach, and many notable 3rd party games. But if you're crazy about indies and Sega Genesis games, I can't deny PS3 looks pretty awesome. :-p

You're very into this console war bullshit but I have PS3, PS4, Vita, 360, and X1 so clearly I enjoy something about all of them.

By the way, just a little while ago I went to my PS4 and just started download a bunch of the indie games I never tried. Quite honestly... don't think I'm gonna enjoy many of them. But I try them hoping I find a gem.

I'm more in the "Dragons Dogma/infamous" camp, but clearly all of those retail titles are all Genesis games and indies.

And no, I just legitimately don't care for most of the amazing games that you have so much fun with. I mean, Thief was only a critical failure, but God forbid anyone agree with those critiques. Also, I'm not the one who came here and started comparing to GwG, I only came on here to remind people that it's thanks to these bad indies that we got something like Rocket League so popular and that being an indie doesn't mean it's a bad game.

I recommend Nom Nom Galaxy.
