Why cant it be feasible for the Wii U version to be better? Take Rodea the sky soldier for instance, the Wii version is far superior. That game was in development for Wii for ages, built from the ground up to take advantage of the unique Wii features and controls. It was then rush ported to Wii U with a horrible control scheme, and better graphics aside, ended up being weaker than the previous gens iteration. My point being that the new Zelda has obviously been in years of development to take full advantage of Wii U features, that a quick NX port might just not cut it.

I agree. Rodea was designed with motion controlls in mind. Changing the focus from the Wiimotes to the Gamepad affected the game because it wasn't designed with gamepad in mind. Zelda U was made and designed with WiiU in mind, and I suppose it would have stayed an exlusive if the WiiU performed better.

I think that both versions of Zelda U will be nearly identical. Nintendo has no time to play around with the NX version. Finish the game, make a NX version of the game, release them both and get on with other projects.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
