Yes, I get that a lot. Idk why white people are like that though (some not all obviously). In high school people would talk to me and be like, "I was afraid to say something to you because you look intimidating" 
(which obviously they got some courage to actually say something to me xD) . I've even had random people want to fight me because of this as well.
