If the X1 can emulate Xbox 360, hardware with completely different arcitecture, then I think MS can get Windows running via some sort of virtual machine.
I've actually thought about this before. They should get Windows running on X1 via virtual machine, emulation, or whatever. You wouldn't actually use the Windows interface on X1, it would just be there to run apps. Then simply allow people to purchase select PC titles that are entirely playable with a X1 controller. That's the most logical way to go about it on a console.
Doing that they could add hundreds of titles to the X1 with no effort other than approval from the publisher. A long list of shooters, fighters, WRPGS, JRPGs, indie games, etc. Windows is great weapon MS has and they should use it.
