By the time it does happen I'll probably be too old to care anymore and too busy with other life things. With a stable income I would be able to expand my classic console collections which I would become increasingly more invested in and probably gather most of my attention. At the same time I might become increasingly uninterested in newer games because they're too new and different for me. Or maybe I'll embrace the change and continue playing modern games, I don't know.
In either scenario, if I am still interested in gaming then I probably won't quit. But even if I do because I cannot accept a digital only market then I'll still have 30-50 (?) years worth of physical gaming to go back and play, so as far as I'm concerned it's a win-win for me.
