TP port wasn't necessary at all, Nintendo just could leave it only GC version and force people to buy GC controller in order to play game on Wii, but they wanted strong launch title for Wii that will go very well with Wii Sports and they wanted to sell few millions copies of game on Wii too, those are resons why they ported game on Wii, and from those same reasons they will port Zelda U on NX and make it launch title.

They could do that but if they ACTUALLY WANTED TO SELL IT TO WII OWNERS, porting was the best choice. Forcing people to buy another controller would severly reduce sales. That's why there's no reason to port Zelda U to anything.

They could sale GC controller with game or sale just separate GC controller, we already saw something similar with Skyward Sword and Motion Plus.

Again main reasons why they port TP to Wii and why they will port Zelda U and make it launch title for NX are because in that way they will have killer app for launch of complete new platform and because they will sell few millions of NX copie of a game.

They could do that if they were stupid, bundling a GC controller with a GC game just for the people buying it to play on wii, when it was cheap to make a port. motion plus is a small acessory, far cheaper than a controller and thus easier to bundle.

Again, reasons they don't have to port Zelda U to wii u's successor (we don't know if it is NX) is because anyone can just buy the game and play it on Wii U's successor. No extra controller, just put the game on the system and play it. Enough of this talk.
