Oculus Rift.. $599 US - Ships in March.. UDPATE: Now MAY

The price is too high, but it also includes a bunch of stuff I don't want:
-Game(s)
-XB1 controller
-Remote control

I'd prefer that they take these out and sell just the headset for $400. I imagine they'll be doing that by the end of this year as competitive headsets hit the market.
