You say that it's cheaper to buy console games digitally, but where I live, the opposite is true. Most people I know IRL have never bought a console game digitally. And I know nobody I who has gone 'all digital' on console.

Of course PC games are cheaper, the digital reselling market is highly competitive and at places such as CD keys you can get a digital PC code for 50% of the console version.

It's a different topic but I will say that the math doesn't add up. Platform holders such as PlayStation/Microsoft/Nintendo don't charge anywhere near 50% royalties. The pub/dev make less $ per copy on PC than console, on average.
