It's not a rythym game as you can play these kind of games with the sound turned off. ;)

Most people will buy this on PS4/XBONE, so they will have to rebuy it lol.

Harmonix has fully confirmed that Rock Band 4 will be backwards compatible on your old instruments and songs.

 

i payed $60 but the game and got the 65 tracks + 10 pre-order bonus songs + my previously purchased dlc all while using my guitar/drums/mic i bought back on ps3.  harmonix did the most wonderful job going out of their way to make this ridicuosly consumer friendly and they deserve applause not feinted indignation.
