I think he is joking. 1920x1081(little better than 1080p) PiAA = 3.14 x AA(better than 3xAA. Haze is most likely 576p. If the graphics are good, the framerate is solid, and the gameplay is fun it doesn't really matter what resolution it runs at. I think we should get used to these "sub-hd" games on both 360 and ps3. It's not really a big deal.
