Software:

X360 - 2.317 million

PS3 - 1.386 million

 

Hardware:

X360 - 119,345

PS3 - 145,196

 Well, he could say that seeing as how the userbase in NA is heavily in favor of the 360.

360- 11.72M

PS3- 4.88M

Then, considering the PS3 sold more than 50% of what the 360 sold, the PS3 did very well.

360- 2.317M

PS3- 1.386M

 I won't say that this is the beginning of the end, because the 360 still moved 2.3 mil copies of the game which is darn impressive, and almost a full 1 mil ahead of the PS3.

Disclaimer: I am not a fanboy of either console, though the PS3 is my console of choice. I don't think that the 360 is doomed at all.
