I don't know what Ludo is, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that case. A description of the boardgame (with some pictures if legally possible, or a twich live session/youtube video of your team playing the game) it is based on is needed to give those uninitiated an idea of what to expect of it. People won't give money if they have no idea about what the final product could look like.

Ok, I'll put images and videos of the actual Ludo board game. I wish I had a video to show of my game running now, but I don't yet, because it's still early in development and the placeholders haven't been swapped out with the actual art work. Do you think a video of the current state of the game will be a good idea, or I should just post some concept art?

That depends on how big the difference is visually between what you have and what you want to reach. If it's too big, it will scare away potential customers as that will look plain ugly and won't believe you could achieve what you want in the concept art.

Since you say it's still in early development, concept art will probably be better for you.

Btw, keep me posted upon the development. I got a crowdfunding thread on another site running for 3 years now and would like to add your project into my next update.
