But... that's the point. Sadly Fox don't get it. Doom might be comically villainy villain, Annihilus might be horriffic and scary for kid, Super Skrull cool and Galactus beyond comprehension but the idea of the Fantastic Four is a fun filled, slightly goofy science adventure with Mr F and his 3 pals.
The films have not been this.
But I think FF is harder to translate than the others. Having them as background character in the MCU might work. Yet the longer the MCU goes on the more pointless a lot of this connected universe is, you know, because the actors age, comic book characters don't.
