With the exception of the PS3, which obviously had its struggles early on, Sony has never dropped a console's price prior to a holiday. It's always been May. The PS4 is exceeding all previous systems and leading up to a massive holiday with huge marketing partnerships. There will not be a PS4 price drop this year.
