I was just thinking about the NX and wondering if it was a VR system but with the powerpc cpu replaced with x86 architecture and the gpu considerably more powerful but with the same wireless controller connection but this time the controller is some basic spec VR glasses with forward facing camera's so when necessary the VR glasses allow normal vision in plus augmented reality.
So that's the technology but what if lets say a horror game is actually played out in your own home. You wander around your own home wearing these VR glasses and the faces of zombies appear looking in your own windows. You hear sounds of the door locks being tried and zombies break through doors and attack. You hear footsteps upstairs and the lighting is suitably reduced for atmosphere. You look outside to see distant zombies moving around.

That's basically the idea but of course it could be your floor covered in snakes, eyes looking at your from pictures. Your pet cat suddenly having demonic large teeth and evil red eyes. Blood pouring down the walls etc. You must shoot the zombies in the head, put stakes through vampire's hearts, show crosses to vampires and other stuff.
While VR I think will be huge I think augmented reality will also be a big part of it too.
