Microsoft:

“Xbox One and Xbox Live continue to see strong growth in sales and engagement. Xbox One sales in the U.S. were up 51 percent over June 2014 and active global Xbox Live users (Xbox One and Xbox 360) grew 22 percent.”

Should we automatically assume that 'up 51 percent' is refering to hardware sales?  Could sales refer to Xbox One revenue?

Man I would make a great PR lawyer.

If revenue is up 51% and the unit price is down $50, that would make hardware sales up over 51% by quite a lot. I doubt MS would talk revenue is revenue increase is a lower % than hardware numbers increase. It's only if MS is counting software + hardware revenue that the revenue % would be > hardware 5. But I don;t think they are doing that.

You are assuming that Xbox One sales means hardware alone.   If you are correct, then I would be forced to concede.  However, it is an assumption.  Granted, you could still be absolutely right.  If you are wrong, then I would still make a great PR lawyer.
