It would have been the same for any company. When Sonys firmware update bricked there systms last gen, i am sure Sony didnt go to extremes tryng to help there customers. My mate never got a new PS3 for it, he had to buy a new one. MS had a choice to fix the issue or drop the 360 and move on, and they fixed it and continued on making consoles. The 360 is one of the best Consoles ever made in terms of innovations and quality (after RROD innodent) It was out preforming the PS3 which on paper was a supeiour console. Not trying to get into a fan boy argument but the 360 was a great system and did wonders to the industry, it made Sony lower there price, it added a great online network and featured the best controller ever made. MS saved it and thats a good sign, shows they really care for the Xbox brand.
