Yeah, I learned this lesson very well in the second Witcher on the 360. That game was far more punishing though. You had to prep your potions before a fight. You do in this game to some degree as well, but there is a little more freedom to use certain potions in this game compared to the second. Alchemy is very important in a game like this. You're essentially a mage, rogue and a warrior all in one unlike dragon age where you were commanding a whole team. If you play the game properly and get to know it well it well you'll be more powerful before you reach the end of the more storyline than say if you just rushed through the game. The Witcher 3 and Dragon Age have the most well thought out crafting systems in a game. The Witcher also includes weapon repair, so you have to think about how many times you strike as well. This game digs a little deeper on your resource management unlike Dragon Age which is a bit easier.
