Why don't larger devs give Wii U owners a chance through kickstarter or sites like it

I agree, but that does not mean Nintendo should just treat that as the norm. It is like they just expect this to be the case now. Third party digital is what kept the Wii U alive in the gaps between games.

They've been treating that like the norm for a LONG time. Probably since N64 if they havent changed by now i wouldnt hold my breath things will be different in the future
