I posted this on another thread but I absolutely feel it is deserving of its own post. This film is fantastic and truly lives up to the originals and is an action flick that does not dissapoint. From the brutal cars to the chaotic wastelands George Miller brought his orginal visions to life with todays budget and expectations without CGI in a time where hollywood blockbusters sell on the biggest and baddest CGI action seqences. First of all let me be clear THIS IS MAD MAX!  I saw this film today and I watched the previous trilogy over the past two days. This is my Dad's favorite series and I took him to see the 7:30 show on Thursday. We both agree that it is by far the second best film in the series. No it doesn't quite touch Road Warrior but it blows the first film and Beyond Thunderdome out of the waters. So yes it' is that damn good! As far the people that think Max isn't the lead? You guys are smoking something because he is most definitely the lead, and he shares that lead with Imperator Furiosa and there is nothing wrong with that. Max is a lone wanderer and he always had someone who he was helping that shared a huge part with him. In this case he was helping Furiosa and the difference here was that they spent the whole time in the same vehicle as the chase was 95% of the movie. This film started with Max and it ended with Max, Imperator Furiosa was the second main lead and I do mean main. She was achieving a goal and Max tries to jack her ride and ended up helping her just like the lone wanderer he is. Selfish yes selfless, funny how that works out!

As for the whole feminism theatrical bullshit people are spreading. They were saving sex slaves.... What the hell is feminist about that? I'm a male and I likely would end up doing what Max did, what a real man did. Both Max and Furiosa did heroic things to save these women. The older women did feel superior because of their survival skills. As for the other women they were as important to Immortan Joe as oil and water is to everyone else in this world. They provide him his children and his milk... in other words without his slaves he was nothing. If you relied so much on someone I would imagine they would feel superior even if they were dominated due to how vital they are. His commodities he needed were lost and he stopped at nothing to retrieve his most prized commodies. Every villain in this series had something that they prized so heavily. So because they fought back that is considered feminism? Lmfao no wonder it took so long for slaves to be liberated, people are apparently equally stupid today as they were back then. I guess the film Selma was a loving tribute to the Black Panthers, and The Imitation Game was conclusively about homosexual equality. Which was indeed a sad part and Allan Turner was an amazing man who contributed so much to this world we live in :'(

This bullshit is so out of context and those people completely miss the point of the films and the story they are trying to portray. It has nothing to do with feminism but is in fact an action flick that is about liberating sex slaves. People are so illiterate that it is beyond ridiculous, no wonder the drop out rate is so high. I've actually heard people state that women are whores that should live on the streets. That's a hella lot of Immortan Joe's that need a kick in the nuts to learn how to treat a lady like a real man. It is apparent that a lot of people don't like change and 50 years from now people are going to look back at us as an uncivilized culture just like we look at people 150 years ago. Yes equality is important for all genders, race, and ethnics and that is a fact. Kind of funny it takes someone who is mixture of American, Canadian, Greek, and Nordic to say this and yes I am white ffs. Times change and we are all the fools of yesterday!

This film is FANTASTIC and I don't know what people are waiting for! Go see this film and it is by far the best film of this year. Star Wars suddenly has a lot to live up to, and that is one of my favorite franchise. Daredevil is also a highlight of this year! This film may very well be one of the few action flicks to win major awards.

Fun facts about Fury Road!:
- CGI is kept to a bare minimum and all these stunts are real and performed by real stuntmen
- They built 150 cars for this movie and over 80 of them were destroyed in the process of filming
-  Immortan Joe is the same actor from the original Mad Max who played Toenail
- The film doesn't take place on a set or green screen. This is a real chase in real locations. These actors went to hell and back on the roads of fury and fire
- The film was planned years ago and was planned in 1993, 1998 ( could be wrong here), 2003, 2009, and 2012. The overall plot of the film remained faithful from the beginning. The films origins and easily predates modern feminism hence why the idea of the film being pro-feminism holds no water and is laughable
- One scene took over 130 days to film
- There was only a story board and no script. George Miller was very clear and directive of his vision
- Framerates were both sped up and dropped dramatically, you could miss a lot of action with a single blink of an eye
- Yes those were real stuntmen on the poles swinging back and forth and no mannequins were used on the majors stunts. George Miller was strict on safety
- Tom Hardy is great and yes he actually was tied to the front of a speeding vehicle. The cast needs a vacation after the shit they went through
- This film is a must see for anyone who holds regards and love for the art of cinema
