It is just natural that species get wiped out if they are not fit enough to survive. There is nothing unethical about that. It happened a million times before humans existed and it will happen a million times more. It is just the natural flow of things and it does not matter at all unless you are a member of the species that is about to get wiped out deliberately. It just depends on your point of view.
