I do prefer retro inspired indie games. Most indie games ARE inspired by retro games though, right? And I know they get patches, but how many big indie games (Vvvvv, Braid, Meat Boy, Fez, Axiom Verge, Cave Story etc.) do you know that shipped broken and didn't work for extened periods or functioned poorly? I can't remember even one example myself. They just seem more polished. It's probably because most of them are a labor of love as opposed to souless corporate cash grabs.

Use some logic, indie games are generally smaller scale, less complex and should obviously have less bugs. Regardless indie games are often patched to fix bugs.

If you genuinely care about some AAA games you'll play them after major bugs are addressed. But I get the impression you're complaining about games you have no interest in regardless of bugs.

A lot of indie games are souless cash grabs as well. You obviously only pay attention notable indie games.
