PSP was discontinued in certain markets, not all (USA in January of 2014, Japan was roughly mid year in 2014, and Europe was later of that year. However since they still list Vita+PSP for most of 2014, means they are still shipping them somewhere). Also discontinue of production doesn't mean they don't have the product to sell. It just means it won't be produced for that market anymore.
