Regarding MGS, I've learned to appreciate context more than canon. Some characters were reinterpreted while others changed or had their natural evolution between the squeals.
I'm not that familiar with Tekken's story nor it's canon, but each game has a power hungry member of the Kazama family sponsoring the Iron fist tournament, which he presumably won in the last game. Though I wouldn't exactly call it a good or bad ending. They all can be assholes on their own right, which leaves things ambiguous enough for me to mention here
