I do really hope that the 390X is cheap, but with the recent price list that has been leaked, I'm not very optimistic http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/AMDs-Next-Gen-Grafikkarte-R9-390X-soll-ueber-700-US-Dollar-kosten-2575802.html or the gaf thread: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1011388
Still, I'll have to read the reviews and see how does the Titan X compare to the 290X. The lastest performance leaks (on the OP) showed the TitanX being about 35-45% faster than the 290X, and if that turns out to be true then there are more reasons to believe that the 390X figures are also true. |
Essh, I was hoping it would be more in the $500-$600 range and not $700+. Not to say it doesn't deliver the performance based on the price but it looks like I will skip if thats the case. And while the 380X will be faster than a 290X, I really wanted that HBM in there but oh well. I will just wait and see what Nvidia can come up with when their thing launches
