the thing that bothers me the most isn't that Nintendo's doing what a good company does and expanding and trying to invest in a broader market and increase the appeal of their main focus, game development

what bothers me is that people are flying on the "DOOMED" ship and prematurely saying RIP and shit before anything has even really happened. this could be one of the best moves ever and they could end up making millions directly and indirectly off of it. If not, they just go back to doing what they're used to doing, and they've got enough of a "warchest" that they'll be totally fine even if they incur losses (which, assuming the games are decent quality, I doubt will happen).

if you're really a fan, you should be supporting them and trying to make sure they do it "right"(by not putting out garbage game f2p stuff riddled with microtransactions, for instance) rather than acting like Nintendo is dead when even in a worst-case scenario, they wouldn't be dead... -_-
