The economy is also not as detailed or interactivve as other MMORPG's. Basially if you are looking for a great PvE experience then it is the game for you. If you're looking for a game where the main-focus is somethng else, then look elsewhere. I just want to say that unlike single player games, there isn't really an easy way to compare a single MMORPG with others, as they can target very different audiences and have different strengths. All of the reviews I've read seem to take this into consideration and ONLY review the game on its general merits (graphics, leveling, controls) rather than give an accurate description of which types of players will like the game, but telling WHO will like the game is crucial for any MMORPG review. |
Consider this. The reviews you're reading is mostly just about the main storyline, but every 3 months FFXIV adds new content in patches thus continuing the storyline and endgame content. Other MMOs would call that expansions every other year. Why don't you play the 14 day free trial?
