The film doesn't glorify the Iraq War, and in fact does the opposite with its portrayal of the effect of war on a veteran and his family. There might've been some slight inaccuracies in tactics or logic but I don't think anyone intelligent left the theatre thinking that the movie tried to send a message of war being a good thing. Actually became interested in seeing it a month back because Bradley Cooper; he's one of my fave actors. |
The movie tells people that war isnt a good thing for american soldiers but not for the people who get invaded
