1080p30fps vs 720p60fps

Most games that aim for 1080p 30 FPS, aren't actually consistently 30 FPS. since there goal is eye candy. So they hit 30 FPS with drops.

While games that aim for 720p 60 FPS, seem to actually hit their mark since their goal was smooth gameplay.

That's completely anecdotal however.
