They haven't. The only reason the gap isn't 7.4m at the moment even though the PS4 sold over 200k more than the XB1, is because of 'adjustments'. I think the actual figure is around 7.4m - 7.5m at the moment, but I'm still confident the 9m is possible even without the 'possible' undertracked numbers being added.
