Can anyone tell me why this would be any different from MS deal for Tomb Raider.  Doesn't seem like we are seeing the same level of outcry we saw with the Tomb Raider deal.  Pretty much the same parameters exist since Street Fighter is a multiplat game now made exclusive.

It is different, mainly because Tomb Raider Remastered on the PS4 stomped the Xbox One version into the ground, which automatically tells us that the PS4 has more of a Tomb Raider fanbase than the Xbox One. The PS3 version outsold the 360 version. The new Tomb Raider was announced with no exclusivity mentioned and they let people assume it was going to be on the PS4. We are also being led to believe that the Xbox One version is only a timed exclusive. On top of this, the PS4 is quite easily maintaining a healthy lead when it comes to worldwide sales which means a bigger audience for the game to hit.

With SF5, Xbox One has no Street Fighter already on the console. The PS3 version of SF4 outsold the 360 version of SF4. Street Fighter 5 has been announced as "exclusive" from the very first leak, with no beating around the bush regarding timed exclusivity or whether or not the game will actually release on other platforms at all.

The situations are totally, completely different to one another because of current userbases and how the announcement was handled.
