I don't know. It will be a tall order to top a year that included a new Mario Kart, Smash Bros., Donkey Kong, and Bayonetta.

Also, some of the games on that list carry a lot of questions marks, including Star Fox, Project Guard, and Project Giant Robot.

That being said, Xenoblade and Zelda look great, from what little we've seen (and come from proven development teams); Splatoon looks like one of the most refreshing and most unique shooters in years; Yoshi's Woolly World looks like a worthy successor to Yoshi's Island; and, thanks to recent footage, I'm now sold on Mario Maker and Kirby.

So, yes, it's definitely possible that 2015 will eclipse 2014, especially with some games yet to be announced. Moreover, WiiU will also be in contention as THE system to own in 2015. PS4's '15 line-up is similarly impressive -- Metal Gear Solid, Bloodborne, Arkham Knight, Uncharted 4, Soma -- but right now I'd give the edge to Wii U.
