Obviously a shame it happened like this because as a kid I've played with toy guns myself... but yeah never really shoved one in someones face while they walked the full lenght of a footpath stopping them like that, and from the sounds of it he removed a portion to make it look more like a real gun? some orange marking thing meant to be on the barrel to show it's a toy? bad idea, bad parenting to let him go out and play with something that looked like that. |
Yeah most toy guns have an orange tip because some of made to look extremely realistic, and need some kind of a sign that they're toys. It's important to note that this wasn't just a toy, this was an air-soft gun, why a 12 year old was brandishing it at people in the first place is beyond me.
