If you look at Apple products they're sexy as hell and people are continuing to purchase their products because its that dam sexy. There are people that will buy and upgrade to every iPhone because it just looks good. However in scenarios like the fat PS3 and possibly the Xbox One, people were and could be holding off buying them waiting for a slimmer nicer version. I also get that they don't put built in batteries and honestly probably doesnt stop gamers from buying them, but it just puts a bad taste in value thinking about it. |
I'm not saying I'm the word's law when it comes to when somebody will purchase something. Sure, it's likely that there are some people who wouldn't buy it because it's too big. However, it doesn't even compare to the amount of people who would wantonly repurchase a console that was half the size, including those people who were holding off.
