Alright, let's get the game discussion going, here are some games who I wanted to include in my Top 50 but it turns out 50 is a really small number when you've been gaming for 25 years...

Games played in 2014, in no particular order:

Risk of Rain: Impressive rogue-like game with diverse gameplay and one of the best soundtrack ever composed for a video game. It's very hard but the wide range of power ups and characters keep you coming back for more.

DmC: Devil May Cry: Finished this game a few days ago so I don't know if it'll have a lasting effect on me but I thoroughly enjoyed the combat system, it's fluid, fun, allows for seemless weapon changes, incredibly satisfying. I also liked the story and the sexy new Dante, although sometimes the jokes were kinda lame.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze: Top-notch platforming, very challenging, playing as Diddy, Dixie and Cranky adds variety but it somehow didn't hook me as much as DKC: Returns.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia: Really well crafted Metroidvanias that I still have to finish.

Games that had to make place for new additions to my list:

Mario Kart Wii: This entry was replaced by it's younger, better looking brother.

Portal 2: Great puzzle shooter with twice the murderous AI goodness

Rock Band: Hours of fun pretending to be good at music and singing.

Terraria: Like Minecraft but in 2D and actually fun

Devil May Cry: The original and still my favorite. Not as fluid as the original but has better bosses.

Blast Corps: Mindless fun game where you get paid to knockdown buildings thanks to a rogue nuclear vehicle
