In 2010, the number comparison between the first 3 quarters and the last ten weeks is interesting. 360 and wii have very similar numbers, while ps3 is lopsided toward the early year. Then in 2011, 360 had the kinect bundle, and wii had a price drop, ps3 again had nothing. Then in 2012, 360 and wii had nothing new, and ps3 had the new slim model. So, my guess is, if the console has a price drop or a good bundle, or something new introduced during the year, then the sales for the last 10-weeks will be close to or exceed the previous 3 quarters' sales. |
