It's always the same. I remember Sony fans doing similar things during the PS3 era so there's guilt on both sides of the fence. The only difference is the complete flipping of EVERYTHING, from sales figures to exclusives to Indies to resolution. I have never seen flip-fopping on such a broad and universal scale before. Everything that doesn't benefit a certain userbase is deemed 'unimportant', and when I say EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING. That tells it's own story.
