They don't know what they want.

When Nintendo tries to cater to the "hardcore" gamers, fans claim that Nintendo is either changing for the worse and it needs to cater to their casual fans.

When Nintendo caters to the more "casual" fan with it's old franchises, (Pokemon, Zelda, Mario) fans claim that Nintendo either won't change up their forumla and get with the new generation of games; or that they need to cater to the "hardcore" fan more.

Basically, internal strife with Nintendo fans. It's just kind of annoying. I realize that it might be hard for Nintendo to change the type of games they make compared to Microsoft and Sony; mainly just because they've been doing it longer and seen much more of their success in the past (all the way back to the 80's)

The past couple generations ahve been quite hit/miss with Nintendo's success and I don't think the fans can agree on what they want. The gamecube (while a sweet console with some cool games) was a failure; the Wii was a great success, and the Wii U (so far) has been a failure.

Any thoughts??? I'm not trying to diss Nintendo or their fans; but it's just kind of annoying and it bugs me when you have those "wannabe hardcore" Nin-gamers and the loyal fan who dislikes hardcore games.
