... I was impressed, but cautiously so.

Graphics : Good graphics and solid framerate overall. Bosses look fantastic. Main characters look great. Environments and enemies are okay.

Gameplay: Simple, but fun. And as I expected, the Zelda influence added some depth from what I expect from a Warriors game (last one I tried was Dynasty Warriors 8 ). Some puzzle solving in terms of using items to find new areas and defeat bosses -- but pretty simple to an experienced Zelda fan. Combo system seems to have some depth too, but maybe to early to call. The demo level was pretty easy to me.

Sound: Great soundtrack. SFX give you a great feeling like you're constantly kicking ass

Gamepad: great use of the gamepad as an event log, map, and inventory screen. Really well done. I want more games to use the Gamepad the way Hyrule Warriors does.

Demo didn't give any story or co op options. But based on the mission I had, I think the game does lend itself tremendously well to co op.

Overall, it's a game I walked away wanting to spend more time on. May not be the masterpiece Zelda people crave, but still really good.

I really look forward to trying the co op someday. IMO If you have a friend or loved one who either A) loves Zelda (or musou) games as much as you do or B) have somebody in your life whom you want to introduce Zelda to who'd otherwise be overwhelmed taking on a Zelda game on their own, then this game NEEDS to be on your radar.

It has some promise as a single player experience, but I really believe co op will be where it really shines

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
