And regarding Sony lying about this, I refuse to believe that a company would tell such a straight up lie on stage, they would just stay ambiguous like MS did with Tomb Raider ("exclusively in 2015"), Sony could have just stated shipped numbers for example. But to even say "just to be clear, this is sold to customers" is something they wouldn't do if it wasn't true.
