I don't know what is with sony and network services. With exception to PS+ every foray they have made into that arena ended with them falling flat on their faces.
I don't know, but it seems like if they are given a choice from 4 right options and 1 wrong one, they would nine times outta ten pick the wrong one when it comes to how they go about offering networking services and leveraging their assets.
Just look at PSnow. The obvious thing would be to have only one type of game rental option. $3 per game and limit the user to having no more than rented games at anytime. And give everyone a one month trial. But they are already finding a way to mess that up too. So sad.
And you want people to start buying movies primarily form your store? Give out free movies every month on PS+ like you do with games for crying out loud and see what wonders that would do. And they even have a movie studio which makes this foresight even more bewildering.
