The differences are clear but not really enough to justify investment in a new console to a lot of people. My first console experience was with the Atari 2600 and, since then, I've seem huge gains in graphical fidelity in all generations shifts except for this one (excluding the Wii U, which compensated for the lack of graphic improvement for Nintendo consoles on the last one). I am still waiting to find enough reasons to buy a PS4. I am sure I will buy one in the next 12 months as new and more interesting exclusive games are released. If graphics are the main concern, PC gaming will be a much more gratifying experience than consoles.
