Pretty obvious looking at the year. Amazon gets strong stock so anything that is hard to find locally may look stronger there than in stores. That said, ps4/xb1 have had tons of availability in stores for a long time now. The $399 SKU for xb1 is stacked up everywhere I go, so it's not likely to see any artificial inflation on Amazon, same with ps4 and xb1 kinect.
conclusion : Amazon did it again, just like every month in regards to ps4 v xb1 this year.
