This here is a step by step guide so that you can avoid getting banned in Vg Chartz. If you are wondering why this thread was even neccesary then speak with Nintentacle since he asked for this thread.
So here we go! Let me transport you to the "Not banned" dimension!
1- Having the word "Goku" in your username. If you have it chances are you are Black Goku alt. If you don't know who he is then search in the members database. He was a great user but he requested a permaban. Now he wants to get back to the forums... but the sad truth is that once you permaban yourself, there is no coming back! Which takes us to our next point....
2- Permabanning yourself. This one is really difficult but the best way not to get banned is NOT to ask for a permaban. If you ever thought it was a good idea... then take it out of your head NOW. You won't acomplish anything by doing so, except fame (but not fortunes).
3- Failing to insult other people. Insults are OK. But you have to be careful with what kind of insults you are handing out. You need to make sure they don't include any kind of offensive word, examples of that are: "Motherfucker", "Fucking Cunt", "Piece of Shit" and many more exquisite words. If you want to insult, make sure you do so by being as stealthy as you can. It's kinda the same thing but the difference is that it isn't wrong!
4- Spamming. Spamming is not good at all. It isn't accepted or tolerated in these forums so make sure to limit yourself.
5- Be respectful. Be respectul with other people, even if what they just said is a complete and utter piece of fecal matter. Try to use gentle words to describe their opinions and you'll come through. If you really feel like insulting the user make sure you apply the "stealth insult" tactic.
6- Read the Forum rules. Nah kidding. They are there just for show, if you ever need to avoid getting banned just use my thread.
7- Bribe the moderators. Rol does it. Gergroy does it. And Anfebious just started it as well. Protection money is something we'll always accept. Starting next tuesday we'll even accept Bitcoins! (Contributed by Smeags AKA "The humble mod".)
8- Be the Sexiest Member on VGChartz. After Nordlead left VGChartz, NiKKoM has taken the crown. He is practically untouchable. Well, I mean, we all want to touch him, but you get the idea. (Contributed by "The humble mod". The fact that NiKKoM is sexy as fuck also helped us to establish this rule)
9.- Kill everyone. No one can ban you if everyone is dead, right? (Contributed by Wright. Contrary to popular belief he is always wrong.)
10- Fight with other users. ONLY do this via alt so that no one can prove it's you. (Make sure your are not using the same IP as your main account! Contributed by spurgeonryan, the most friendly guy in VG Chartz!)
11- Don't join VGChartz. You can't be banned if you lurk. (Contributed by Nintentacle, creative mind of countless threads!)
12 - Don't be a fanboy. Mods don't care about your preference, you better mask that fanboyism as best as you can! (Contributed by Nintentacle, he sure likes to contribute...)
12 - Don't post provocative avatars: It may be good to show others the sexiest model in a provocative bodysuit or a skimpy swimsuit, but some users look into this site while at work. You don't want someone's boss to reprimand a user thanks to the bikini babe in your avatar, no? (Contributed by Mr_No. He ends his sentences with the word No. Which in spanish means No.)
13- Avoid Conegamer. Seriously, avoid him. He is out there for your blood. (Contributed by Clyde32. He sports a cool avatar from an even cooler game.)
14- Control your posting habits. If you see a stupid thread, and want to post in it to say how stupid it is, just don't. It's probably a bait thread, and it doesn't deserve the bump anyway. (Contributed by Hylian Swordsman. He has a badge.)
15- Being Euphoria14. If you are him, chances are that you never got banned in your life. The only problem is that only one person can be him, so yeah, deal with it. (Contributed by Euphoria14 AKA "The guy who was never banned".)
16- IOI, our saviour. If you have any problems with the site, send them to ioi. He loves feedback from his users and I hear he has a list of people who he wants to take out. If you want ioi to take you out, please tell him your feelings about how his numbers at times can be way off from NPD or even mention some of the errors on the site. The guy takes criticism really great. (Contributed by cycycychris, this guy has balls.)
17- Take advice from Anfebious, always. (Contributed by Slarvax, a guy whose national football team never participated in the World Cup (and with good reason).)
18- Inheriting mod protection. It's based on luck so you either inherit it or you don't. Some mods may fail to get the message but you can always send them a PM to "talk" with them about it. (Contributed by Nintendopie AKA Soriku's other half.)
19- Being a Sony fan! Use a Sony/Playstation avatar/signature, that usually does the trick. (Contributed by carlos710, a guy whose name is the same as the grocery store owner in my block.)
20- Don't be Negative about Nintendo near Mr. Khan (Contributed by Captain_Tom. This guy has balls.)
21- Be on Rol's good side This one should be pretty obvious for everyone but I'll post it anyway. Be sure to get on his good side as he is the one who runs this site! (Contributed by Rolstoppable himself, the head mod/admin of VG Chartz.)
22- Don't insult Lost Odyssey For some reason it's become apparent that a group of strange, baffling people don't enjoy the masterpiece that is LO, and see fit to insult it. Doing this is a big mistake and will lead to quite swift moderation. Can't say you weren't warned. (Contribued by Conegamer! The merciless mod.)
23- Purge the forums. Personally i think we should purge the forum. Do a series of stealth polls and ban everyone that gets wrong answers eg. i never played a mario game, angry birds is my best franchise, i think Link looks like a guy....etc. Those people should be permabanned to hell and back. Then to be safe, everyone that are friends with them should be permabanned too. Just my suggestion.
This one is actually a good idea. The best way not to get banned is by banning the whole forums, therefore no one could get banned anymore, because everyone would be out! It's genius and it's also a softer version than rule 9. (Contributed by Intrinsic. He just got moderated by Conegamer.)

25- Kirby's golden rule. Don't criticize or call out mods outside the moderation thread, how wrong or terrible they may be ( usually both ). (Contributed by kirby007, the one and only!)
26- Don't fall for bait threads. (Contributed by deskpro2k3 AKA "Do as I say but not asI do!")
27- Sarcasm is key. (Contribued by iceland, a wise guy!)
