This was cool when Red Dead did it forever ago. It even has the same "snap to enemy" mechanic by flicking the analog stick. Only with shit looking gunplay and animations. GIF is basically the game playing itself for you. Hope they use this delay to make it a hell of a lot better, was my most anticipated PS4 exclusive.
