7950 > R9 270X > 7870

But the difference between 270x and 7870 isn't that much to care unless the 270x and 7870 are equally priced

Also if you game on a 1440 x 900 monitor, these cards will be a beast!

ive just found a cheap powercolor 7870 myst edition that has tahiti(7950) like performance, i have read about you need bios from 2012 onwards

my mobo is MSI 760GM-P21 fx and am unsure if i can use this card

will i be able to play with this grafix card?

Hey, sorry for the late reply, it didn't show that u asked me a question until now loll. But anyway... You should be able to but if u don't all you have to do is update your bios from http://ca.msi.com/product/mb/760GMP21_FX.html#/?div=BIOS

Although usually, u don't need a bios update for new video cards...

lol cheers for the reply

ive decided against it, the specific powercolour 7870 myst edition is an extremly upped 7870 with specs more akin to 7950, but the snag is its very very very power hungry even in idle so i wont be buying, what i have done though my friend showed me his pc with an FX 6300 + asus 7850 2gb oc that hes overclocked and it worked a treat on his display which is a 1600 x 900, so i think il settle for that for a year :) it was really impressive compared to my current rig
