Nintendo also brought Luigi,Peaches and Dinkey Kong. They also brought the game which allows you to do hulahoops without the actual hulahoop and being outside.

They also brought the D-Pad, analog stick, 3D polygonal graphics ( among other things), but those things are irrelevant, amirite?

Right...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intellivision <- directional pad from 1979

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Acetronic-MPU-1000.jpg <- analog stick from 1979

http://www.arcade-museum.com/I/I,_Robot.html <- 3d polygonal game from 1983

So.. peaches and hulahoops it is?

The same way I could say Sega Cd brought disk gaming, and Dreamcast brought online, so Sony and Microsoft brought, nothing I guess.

Well, you could. Except that Microsoft made the OS for Dreamcast thus bringing the online for gaming.  As I really don't like Sony&Nintendo at all I am just fine with Sega taking the credit for disk gaming.

Well, it was still Dreamcast that brought it to the gaming community, not XBox, if you're fine with that I am.

Microsoft, Xbox.. it is all good. MS is good. MS is life.
