480p irritates me with its blurriness and jaggies. But 720p isn't what I consider blurry. Whatever, lets just move on.

If 60 fps and 1080p was more common on the PS4, I'd probably be more dissapointed with Ghosts. Tomb Raider doesen't maintain 60 fps at all times either. Knack looks like crap and runs at 30 fps even though it was built for the PS4. Hence, I don't have high expectations when it comes to performence on launch games. This is why I consider Ghosts decent.

I'm used to playing all my PC and now PS4 games at 1920x1080 (or sometimes 5760x1080 on PC, but that's three separate screens so clarity wise it's the same), which is likely why i find 720p so blurry to look at >.< It's not as bad on a TV as it is on a PC screen (which is completely horrendous), but it still irritated me rather a lot.

My expectations for the resolution and frame rate are based on what is being shown. Considering how early we are in the gen i can understand something like TR being 1080p/45 - 60fps, since it's not a port of a mediocre 7th gen title, but a PC port of an already very good looking game.

I used Killzone as an example as it was both an FPS and one of the best looking 8th titles we had at launch. If that can run at 1080p/30 - 40fps then by comparison i expected Ghost, a glossy port of a mediocre 7th gen title, to be rock solid 1080p/60fps.

On a side note, Knack's a bad example! Even at 1080p/60fps i'd have thought it looked like shit :P God knows what happened there, i can only assume they must have hit their deadline before completing the optimization part of development.

Anyway, we are kind of going around in circles so it's probably best if we just agree to disagree. Again :p
